In the past, Zillow was open to accepting agent-sourced, or manually entered listing data from 3rd party syndication partners. However, that’s no longer the case. They’re only accepting listing feeds that include listing data sourced directly from MLS data.
As a result, Zillow is terminating 3rd party syndication feeds, including ours. That means that whether you’re importing listings from your MLS or manually entering them into Pipeline ROI, Zillow is not accepting them, and they won’t be syndicated to Zillow/Trulia/Yahoo/HotPads via Pipeline ROI. Zillow reported that this is due to “quality and performance issues.” As best we can tell, data quality issues primarily arise when customers don't update the status of a listing once it sells, is withdrawn, etc. We’d love to be able to continue to offer this time saving function, but unfortunately we’re not able to.
The good news is, the majority of our customers’ listings are also included in MLS direct feeds or broker/franchise feeds, so this may not affect you. However, if your MLS or brokerage doesn’t have a direct feed, you may want to talk to them about potentially setting one up by contacting LA@Zillow.com or calling (888)-367-4001. For now, you do still have the option to add listings manually on Zillow’s site.
